Embarking On The World Tour

My dream to embark on world tour in this entry has nothing to do with the spur of interest by movies such as Da Vinci Code or The Gladiator. I have always been amazed by the ancient civilization and world history and if I were given the chance and of course enough money to finance my world tour, I would love to give it a go.

For easy way to get accommodation while on my tour, I will check out the best bargain at EasyToBook.com website. Being an art lover myself, stopping by at Amsterdam, the city of Rembrandt will be a great start. The capital has Europe’s largest and best-preserved historic center which display work of masters like van Gogh and Rembrandt.

Then my next destination will be to Prague. The capital city of the Czech Republic which is also known as the City of a Hundred Spires houses the largest castle area in the world, Prague Castle. It used to be the seat of the Holy Roman Emperor during the reign of Charles IV (1346-1378). Today, Prague Castle is the seat of the Czech president and stores priceless art relics, historical documents, as well as the Czech Crown Jewels.

My other stop would be to Rome, the capital city of Italy. Exploring the great historical landmarks of Rome such as the Pantheon and the Coliseum will be a must on my Rome itinerary. Of course being a superstitious at heart, I will throw a coin into Trevi Fountain with the hope that I will be able to return to the Eternal City as the legend says..heh!

Well, hopefully my plan for this world tour could be launched in the nearest future. Anyone interested to join my journey?

Should I Watch TV?

I was blog hopping and planning to do some good with my reading time when I came across this article: Should You Improve Your Life Or Watch TV?

Now it makes me wonder how many hours do I actually spend watching TV and not doing anything productive during that hours? I think on certain night, it will be around 4 hours, other night when there is not much series that I like, I will spend about 1-2 hours zoning myself in front of the screen. But most of the time, even with the TV on, I still managed to do my handcrafted work.

Should I watch TV like I usually do, or should I switch the activity with something more productive like learning new language? Hemmm…I still need to think how long my tired brain can stay alert with the language book on my hand..heh!

Are You A Personal Injury Attorney?

About a year ago, there was a case where a boy was bitten severely by his neighbor’s dog. The traumatic experience left the boy scared of dogs every time he sees one. I’m not really sure how they settled it but one thing I read and heard from the family, the owner of the dog never even came to see the boy or apologized to the boy’s parents.

After checking out this site, I wonder whether there exists such thing as personal injury attorney in my country. From the definition, a personal injury attorney is someone who can represents you or your loved one who has been injured or killed due to negligence or someone’s fault.

In the above case, it should be the fault of the dog’s owner who let the fierce dog strayed around the neighborhood and later made the boy a victim of the moment. Do you know that a landlord can be made liable as well if she/he knows that the tenant has a dog that bite others (provided that she/he has the legal power to get rid of the tenant).

In automobile accidents for example, most of the insurance companies will immediately offer settlement to the injured person because they know once the case is brought to court, they have to pay even more. So next time if something were to happen that involve personal injury cases, make sure you consult a lawyer before you settle for the amount offered to you.

Next time you are looking for personal injury attorney, you know where to look for one..wink!
