On Foosball And Game Tables

I’m sure many of us have seen what game tables look like. The game room in my last employment place has a pool table, table tennis and foosball. Of course being a workaholic employee I hardly spend my time at the game room (just kidding!), not really that I’m not interested to join the game but usually the room was always conquered by another bunch of male workers whom I didn’t really know.

The first time I get to know about foosball was when I watched Friends. Remember how Joey and Chandler love to spend hours on their foosball match. Like any other games, this kind of sporting event is really cool when you have a great partner for the match. You can spend hours trying to beat each other and yet finish the game with such satisfying glory.

If you never know about the history of foosball, it was brought to America by a soldier, Lawrence Patterson who was stationed in Germany. The name foosball was derived from the spelling of Fußball (the German word for football).

Foosball can be played by two persons or 4. Although personally I think game that is played by two persons will be more challenging because the player needs to use both hands to control all four rows of foosmen simultaneously.

If you feel like practicing it at home, check out the range of foosball tables that are available in the market. You can find something as low as $300 or the one suitable for tournament for $1000 and above.

Apart from those game tables mentioned earlier, I am yet to see any of the air hockey tables in real life. Perhaps this $119 Carrom Air Table Hockey will be sufficient to introduce the game to children or for those sporty male workers to try it in the office game room.

How To Play Chess

chess1.jpg

I always envy those who can play chess. I have tried long time ago when I was young but I don’t know why… I find it hard to grasp the concept..haha!

Now that I’m getting older, I feel like learning to play chess once more time. Maybe this time my brain has enough juice flowing and would enable me to understand the concept and strategy of chess game.

Check this online tutorial. It’s very colorful and easy to understand. So if you wanna learn how it works for chess, check it here.

For another choice on how to start your chess battle, check it at ChessGuru. This one looks more formal. I’m yet to find something that less formal but informative enough for me to retain my interest in chess game.

If you know any good site that offers beginner lesson for chess, feel free to share. I wanna learn. It’s time that I look smart with the chess board on the park.

Endway-Dodge This

I don’t understand how the game works but I’m willing to give it a try. I register as per instruction and validate the link given in my email. Later when I log in in the Endway website and try to follow the instructions given to players, it keep on saying that I’m not logged in.

However the only comprehensible thing that I’m supposed to do is to point to this URL. So please people help me gain a way, so that I can earn $100 this week. :)

Casino Royale In The Making

 casinoroyale.jpg

After watching the Bond new movie, I decided to at least learn the rule of poker. I never have any idea how the card games work, not the slightest glimpse of the rules of which card will win or lose.

Now that I found PokerDIY, I might have the chance to practise my poker face in front of my monitor, while imagining that I’m playing against Bond. Perhaps next time MI-6 will hire me to replace Bond in his next poker game to save the world against terrorism. :P

To all poker idiots out there, please share my enthusiasm in learning poker by participating in the poker conversation. The royalty fee of USD4 is enough to buy you drinks while you are in the game.

GameHouse Games

Whenever I have free time, I always download the free trial game from GameHouse. Being a person who gets bored easily, I rather like to download the trial games than to spend my bucks on the full version games…unless it was really, really
awesome for me like the Sims2..hahaha..I spent a lot to upgrade my PC in order for me to play the Sims2. All those graphics need a powerful PC to run, and since my previous PC make the Sims stucked in the toilet while peeing I have no choice but to upgrade. But even that won’t last long, after about a week I lost my interest..hahah after I make the Sims pregnant and gave birth to 6 children I just lost the patience to take care of the family.

I’ve tried Cakemania from GameHouse, check it out. If you have any ambition of building bakery, perhaps this game will help you to see how hectic life as a baker can be..hahaha..but as for me, after a level or two I just dont feel like playing anymore. It became too routine and monotonous for me to carry on, not that the game is not challenging enough. Now I have another game to install, check Shopmania. But I bet even this one could not hold my interest for so long. Thank God I still have a lot of choices from GameHouse. :)
