At last after such a long wait to read this book, I managed to finish it in 3 nights.
I have put the synopsis of A Good Woman in my previous entry.
However for those who are hoping for a happy ending, a knight in shining armor who came and swept Annabelle off her feet, you will be disappointed.
Of course like me, I have been hoping that she will find someone who loves her, but even towards the end she is still alone.
She is really a tough woman, after all the things that happened to her, which were not even her fault in the first place.
And I learned through reading this book that there will be certain aspects in life that we should not be bothered to explain to people, because they will never understand the situation. And we should always cherish whatever true friendship and genuine relationship we have since there are many people who are double faced in this world.
Of course, having money will ease the pain and makes life a lot more easier..heh!
