About a year ago, there was a case where a boy was bitten severely by his neighbor’s dog. The traumatic experience left the boy scared of dogs every time he sees one. I’m not really sure how they settled it but one thing I read and heard from the family, the owner of the dog never even came to see the boy or apologized to the boy’s parents.

In the above case, it should be the fault of the dog’s owner who let the fierce dog strayed around the neighborhood and later made the boy a victim of the moment. Do you know that a landlord can be made liable as well if she/he knows that the tenant has a dog that bite others (provided that she/he has the legal power to get rid of the tenant).
