The Ultimate Gift

I’ve always love a movie which has been based by a book. At the moment there is one in particular titled The Ultimate Gift and was based on the book by the same name. When it will be screened in my local theater I will surely go and watch it. This is the official site of the movie "The Ultimate Gift" and the grass-roots movement its starting to help charities and give to others.

What attracts me to watch it is the catchy tagline it has – Life is how you live it, not how you spend it. Being a sentimental person at heart, these kind of movies move me. I did my research on the plot and I found it captivating.

It’s about a guy named Jason Stevens with his very wealthy grandfather, Howard “Red” Stevens. They did not have any warm relationship, just cold hard cash that bind apart from being flesh and blood. After the death of the grandfather, Jason was left with an improbable journey, a devised plan by his late grandfather for him to experience the crash course in life, finding the relationship between happiness and wealth.

He must complete 12 assignments within a year to finally be able to get the ultimate gift. Of course there is some twist in the movie which is not available in the original story line of the book. In the movie there will be a love interest Alexia and her daughter Emily (an up-and-coming child actress Abigail Breslin who played Olive in Little Miss Sunshine).

With its philanthropic message starting by a little but meaningful book, there are a lot of pre screenings of the movie by various charity bodies. The message it portrays of family value, of giving to others, connecting with family and friends, and helping those in needs really make a wave in charity movements. It helped millions of families become closer.

I’m sure this is enough to make hearts that care to get to know more about the movie and to join the movements it has successfully created ,to share the gift and change the world. Check the official website of The Ultimate Gift.
